Our commitment
PhotoPoem is a place for poetry and creative expression. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor is strictly prohibited and has no place on our platform. We are committed to preventing, detecting, and removing such content, and to acting decisively against anyone who attempts to share it or use our services to harm a child.
We comply with all applicable child safety laws in the regions where PhotoPoem is available, and we report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the relevant national and regional authorities.
What is prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form: images, video, text, or generated/AI content.
- Sexualisation of minors, including in poems, captions, comments, profiles, cover art, or uploaded photos.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or attempting to contact or lure a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing links, contact details, or instructions that facilitate the above.
PhotoPoem is not directed to children. Users must meet the minimum age required by our Terms of Service and by law in their region.
How we prevent and detect abuse
- Automated moderation. Every poem, image, and comment is screened by an automated safety system before or shortly after it is published. Content that appears unsafe is blocked or held for review.
- Human review. Flagged and reported content is reviewed by our team, who can remove content and disable accounts.
- Account action. Accounts involved in CSAE are removed, and we preserve relevant information as required for reporting to authorities.
Report a child safety concern
PhotoPoem lets you report child safety concerns directly in the app. On any post, comment, or profile, open the menu (•••) and choose Report → Child safety. You can also report a concern from Settings → Report a safety concern. Reports go straight to our safety team and are treated as a priority.
You can also reach our safety team by email at any time:
Email hello@acelova.comHow we respond, and reporting to authorities
When we become aware of apparent CSAM or a credible child safety threat, we act quickly to:
- Remove the content and disable the accounts involved;
- Preserve the relevant material and account information as permitted by law; and
- Report to the appropriate authorities. In the United States we report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline. Elsewhere, we report to the relevant national or regional child protection authority or hotline.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement (for example, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU) right away. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org, or find a hotline in your country through the INHOPE network at inhope.org.
