Who we are

PhotoPoem: AI Poetic Photo ("PhotoPoem", "we", "us") is a mobile application operated by Acelova Global. You can reach us at hello@acelova.com.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo to create your PhotoPoem account. You may add a display name, username, bio, avatar, and cover image.

Content you create

Photos you upload, poems you generate or write, comments, marketplace listings, and other content you post. Content you publish to the feed is visible to others according to the audience you choose.

Usage and device data

Basic app activity (such as poems generated, likes, follows), app version, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service. We use Google Analytics for Firebase for aggregate app metrics.

Purchases

If in-app subscriptions are enabled, purchases are processed by Google Play and our billing provider (RevenueCat). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

How we use your information

  • To provide the core features: generating poems, publishing to the feed, following, comments, and the bookshelf.
  • To generate a poem from your photo, the image is sent securely to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for processing. We do not use your photos to train third-party models.
  • To moderate content and keep the community safe (see below).
  • To send notifications you have enabled, and to operate, secure, and improve the app.

Content moderation & safety

Poems, images, and comments are screened by an automated safety system, and reported content is reviewed by our team. We act on content that violates our rules, including a strict, zero-tolerance policy on child sexual abuse and exploitation. Where required by law, we report certain content to the appropriate authorities. See our Child Safety Standards.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run PhotoPoem, under contract, including:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, messaging, analytics);
  • Google Gemini (AI poem generation and safety screening);
  • RevenueCat and Google Play Billing (subscriptions, when enabled);
  • Google AdMob (ads shown to free users);

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the safety of our users and the public.

Advertising

Free accounts may see ads served by Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers to show and measure ads. Subscribers do not see ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete individual content in the app at any time. You may also:

  • Delete your whole account and all associated personal data, either in the app (Settings → Delete account or data) or from our account deletion page.
  • Delete only your published content (your poems and marketplace listings) while keeping your account, using the same in-app screen or web page.

Deletion requests are processed after a 30-day grace period, during which they can be cancelled from the app. After processing, the data is permanently removed. Some records may be retained where required by law or for safety and abuse-prevention purposes.

Children

PhotoPoem is not directed to children and is intended for users who meet the minimum age in our Terms of Service and under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact hello@acelova.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@acelova.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app.
